put a board on the list
Give us a name and an address. We call it, keep whatever art it sends before login, and read what it says about itself — you do not have to type any of that twice.
the call
what happens
The board has to answer — a listing nobody can call is a rumour. We dial once, like a caller: no keys are sent once anything looks like a login prompt, and there are hard caps on time and bytes. What it draws before login becomes its picture here, and belongs to its sysop.
A board added here has no owner — it is a public record that the board exists, nothing more. Run this board? Once it is listed, open its card and prove it is yours: a DNS record under its own name, or a line on its login screen. Then the listing is yours to edit, here or in the BBS list on The Vortex.
